General Information – School Shows

Children’s Theatre Association of San Francisco proudly presents Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs for the 2018-2019 season. We will be returning to the Cowell Theater at Fort Mason in San Francisco’s Marina district. For directions to the Cowell Theater, click here.

Once upon a time, there were three sisters who were given the chance to choose their destiny by picking their heart’s desire. One chose to have magical powers, and one chose to have power to be the most beautiful Queen in the world. The third chose to raise a family and had a beautiful daughter named Snow White. Snow White had to go live with the Queen who was incredibly jealous of her beauty and her good heart. So she treated Snow White very badly indeed. Come see the Magical Mirror who can only tell the truth if you speak to her in rhyme! And the seven miners and other characters who help Snow White on her journey to find true love. This story teaches us that beauty is skin deep; it is the beauty inside of you that truly makes you special. And also to remember that every deed that you do reflects on you!

For schools to make reservations, teachers must register (one time only) and then make the reservation in real-time. Click the “NEW TEACHER” button below or in the sidebar on the left to register. Weekday school group performances are available for grades K-3 only.

This school program is free for students and teachers, but reservations are required. You will be allowed a maximum of 1 teacher/chaperone for each 5 students unless prior authorization is received. Please be aware that each adult seat takes away from a student seat as seating at the Cowell is very limited.

All groups should plan on arriving at 10 a.m. and plan for departure at approximately 11:30 a.m. The performance runs a little over an hour.
