Our Location

We are located at the Presidio Theatre at 99 Moraga Avenue in San Francisco’s Presidio. For information about the Presidio Theatre (directions, parking, transportation, dining), click here.

Performance FAQs

  • The show runs approximately 1 hour. There is no intermission.

  • We recommend arriving thirty minutes before the show begins.

  • Backpacks will be stored by class in the theater lobby. No backpacks will be allowed in the theater itself.

  • Weather permitting, the area is picnic-friendly – contact us for more information. No snacks will be allowed inside the theater.

  • No liquids other than water are allowed in the theater. There will be water available for refilling your containers and drinking fountains if you haven’t brought a container. BUT NO JUICE, MILK, OR OTHER BEVERAGE WILL BE ALLOWED IN. Thank you.

  • Yes. And we have facilities for seven (7) wheelchairs.

  • Any changes to the date or number of seats for an existing reservation must be done through the Presidio Box Office at (415) 960-3949. If you need to cancel your reservation please contact the Presidio Box Office or send an email to schools@ctasf.org. Allow a few days for a response to your requested modification.

Schools We Serve

Since 1934 our mission has been to bring live theater to children who many not otherwise have that opportunity.

The demand from schools is very high and reservations are often filled within 24 hours. Almost 7,000 children have been attending from the schools listed below.
